WOLVERINE TEAMS
Applications are being accepted for OPEN coaching positions for Wolverines Competitive Teams for the 2019 Outdoor season. We need you!
Our teams cannot run without the dedication of our volunteer coaches.
The QWSC will provide the required training, tools and support for our
volunteer coaches to give them and their players the best chance to
develop, have fun and learn and grow in the sport. Please check the
list below to see which teams remain open.
Wolverine teams are for boys and girls from U9 - U18 who are committed and wish to play at a higher level.
Players selected to play on "Rep" or travel teams play in the SOSA league (Southeast Ontario Soccer Association) which may include teams from Belleville, Kingston, Napanee, Brockville and Portland. These teams may also earn promotion into the ERSL (East Region Soccer League) once they are U13+ which involves playing teams in an Ottawa league.
DRSL is the Durham Region Soccer League which includes teams from Whitby, Oshawa, Peterborough, Lindsay, Darlington, Belleville, & Kingston.
Rep players do not play on a house league team. They can expect at least one practice a week and one game a week (these usually alternate home and away), plus at least one away tournament and our home tournament, the Cameron Memorial.
FOR 2019 OUTDOOR TEAMS!
* Teams with a coach listed for their team have the option to complete their second year. The club will be having a mid season interview in the next couple of weeks, once the coaches listed have confirmed their return we will add their email address for parents/players to contact.
